Comics are cool, we all know that! And comic books are FUN!
If something is fun for children, they will do it again and again!
Comics are a great way to engage young children into a real love of books. They are interesting and exciting and help develop their imaginations. Comic books really do offer a lot for children. You don’t necessarily need to be able to read to enjoy a comic book, which is great for young children and also children that have trouble reading due to issues like dyslexia.
We want to RECLAIM comics for kids! This industry is set to explode because KIDS LOVE COMICS! SIMPLE!
The child I bought it for really loves it. The level is appropriate and the topic really appeals.
Havent received it yet

6 year old seems to enjoy it
Love the illustrations, the puns are clever and love the characters and story line. We haven't read the second book yet, trying to save it for my sons birthday but with having to isolate at home for longer who knows...
My daughter had a lot of fun with the images on the end pages and figuring who was who within the book. Baby kraken is about the sweetest thing ever and the plot is light enough not to be troublesome. I do wish there were more than one female character, though she's very tough and positive which is appreciated. The quality of the book is splendid.
We are already on it re female characters. There are some amazing ones coming up in Jack Scratch #3!
