Sadly a corner of the cover was torn on arrival. Still a great book. Awesome for readers not quite up to chapter books but bored with school readers

After frequently borrowing from the library we knew we had to commit and buy this. Please bring out another with more international folk stories retold. We love it!

Fabulous book, so pleased I purchased this!

My 6 year old son has loved this book. We both love that it's in cartoon format as he loves the pictures, and we both enjoy seeing where each story originated. The stories are different from the regular run-of-the-mill but all hold that lovely fairytale quality of the goodies winning after taking a risk and being kind. I highly recommend this fabulous book for any kid (but I think boys would love it the most) from about 5 or 6 year up. It's a decent size book of 10 stories I think, really great to read night after night, print quality is outstanding. Well worth it.
