It is important to us to use packaging that does not add to plastic waste issues that we have in the world.  We use cardboard boxes that can be re-used in your garden as a great weed mat or they can be recycled with your paper recycling.  We also use a brown eco tape which can go into your compost as well.

A new favourite

This was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old, she has loved reading it together each night with us, she doesn't want to stop each night. We are big book lovers and this is a firm favourite. Highly recommend if you want an enjoyable adventure read with your little people.

Great book for 8 year old

This is a great book, we are half way through it, i love that it has bigger printed words, makes for easier reading. I got this for my girl for her birthday, she enjoys it, some off the words are tricky. We look forward to the next one.

Read it to myself first- found some of the ideas similar to the CS Lewis collection, of which I am a fan.I worried that some of the concepts would be beyond my 5 and 8 year old grand- daughters.
I had attempted reading CS Lewis to the 8 year old earlier but worried that it was a little over her head, so decided to finish it later.
Your story was right up her alley- she is just beginning to understand the notion of a portal.
The 5 year old became engrossed as I read it aloud to her sister, and when we had finished it, brought it back to me read it to her again.
So congratulations on your retake of some fantastic favourites from my teaching days that are more suitable for younger children.
They can’t wait to read The Street Heroes next time they visit.
I’m not sure how the 8 year old is enjoying Jack Scratch but will let you know when next we are talking together. We both have a love affair with reading books aloud.
