Another stunning picture book with a new technique from the Wildling crew to help younger children find calm through the rollercoaster of emotions they can experience.

Teaching children mindfulness through the senses at a young age can help them build confidence, learn to cope with stress and realise they can overcome challenging moments in their life.

The fun ‘Five, Four, Three, Two, One’ rhyme is an easy way for children to remember to use their senses to find their way back to calm.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Another gem in the Wildling Books series, Finding My Calm is a must-have resource to top up your wellbeing toolkit. Empowering parents and teaching children ways to cope with their big feelings, this is a gorgeous book with a powerful and grounding message for our wee ones. As a mental health advocate and a māmā, one of my aims is to help children to identify emotions and learn ways to manage them; this book does just that.” – Rebekah Ballagh, counsellor, author and illustrator, Journey to Wellness.

Bought this for my 4 year old grandson, and it has been so helpful to bring him back to focus when he becomes overwhelmed. My daughter is on the kindy committee and is going to take it to show the teachers.

Finding my calm

I use this book in my preschool room, we have read the book several times and the five things are written for the children to see. I encourage them to remind one another if a friend becomes frustrated they can remind their friend to 'find things you can see.....' It works well.
